HMS Beagle Channel

One fine brisk morning in Ushuaia, I boarded this Patagonia Adventure Co. vessel and headed east up the HMS Beagle Channel in hopes to get a few wildlife shots

The first of the islands we approached with lots of cormorants on it. This species, unlike the Asian variety, handle cold, harsh climates well and are called Antarctic Shags

A tough crowd to approach unseen. Someone is looking in every possible direction. Nothing escapes them. Note, their eyes are blue.

The only picture that had one of those little white puff-balls fully visible for identification. Everywhere else they were either sleeping or pointing away from me. It's a Snowy Sheathbill.

Another rock, this one covered with seals.

Young and old sharing a place in the sun.
